For Madi McKay, the year 2023 brought a college degree, overseas ministry, and a new job at her alma mater!
Miss McKay completed her B.A. in Bible/Theology and Missions - TESOL and now serves as an ABC Admissions Counselor. She shares, "Upon graduating, I interned on Guam serving with the Harvest Baptist Church Summer Ministry Team. I had the opportunity to witness and disciple believers in a variety of ways, including cool school, camp, ESL tutoring, VBS, and international camps. Then Lord opened the door for me to return to ABC as an Admissions Counselor.
"Since joining ABC as a staff member, I've enjoyed deepening relationships with staff and seeing the interworkings of the College and how the Lord provides so faithfully. I have loved being able to continue pouring into current students. One of my favorite aspects of being on staff is our staff/students Prayer Partners program. I have had the opportunity to work with and grow my current relationships with 3 students by praying for them, sending notes, and inviting them over for fellowship in my home.
"I am excited to be part of the Admissions team, encouraging other students to surrender their lives for whatever God might call them to '..because Life is for Service.'"
